It's the shadow not the white

Even as a child, I remember being so perplexed by how a thing, that in concept, appears to be without mass (it floats!) and white can have shadows within them. Still not totally sure how that all works! #clouds #iphone

Thanks Imajane. I love when we get these puffy clouds in our part of California, which seems to happen only in the spring and autumn. Took this shot a couple of months back, since right now it's all hazy and drizzly.
