In the spirit of the Olympics and sport of #pairings I took this photo at a ‘castle hotel’ in Stranraer Scotland. If I recall correctly these stones date back to late 1700’s. I learned more about curling than I ever anticipated as Stranraer is proud to taught the sport that originated here. Further the stone is quarried close to by at isle Ailsa Craig which is visible from the coast line.
