#cracked during what I learned was an attempted smash and grab at Louis Vuitton. Upon exiting the Drake Hotel, I saw what I thought was a simple accident. When I asked the police what happened they filled me in. Apparently this started to occur with such frequency the store, and I imagine others along the strip, reinforced the structure and installed shatter proof windows to deter repeated attempts.
