Ken--I had so many books to choose from, and when I picked these, I saw they were stories of loss, early death, mental illness, drug and alcohol additions--and yet how often they triumphed over those and gave us the soundtracks of our lives. Amazing--and yet, as you say, a lot to process.
Wow such a rich time for music and so many unfortunate events. Even today I'm not sure how to process the flow of history. Promise and tragedy in equal measure.
