Things found on my walk

Taking a walk and a page from Keri Smith's book WRECK THIS JOURNAL, I picked up some bits of nature and trash to make this photo. All the natural things will be pressed into the book. The rest went into recycle, compost, or the trash. Litter sucks, but nature is beautiful.

Thanks, Ken. In my old neighborhood, I used to find a larger assortment of things, including discarded notes and grocery lists. My current neighborhood was weirdly free of debris.

Found objects are always interesting and provocative. The eye of the artist is drawn to certain material which the hand then knows how to arrange.Conscious and subconscious working together.
