Yes, Marc, it was a shiny plane! As a gift, a photography/pilot friend took me up over Long Island for photos. We flew with the windows open! It was quite the experience and I have so many great shots from that day.
I think I figured out that this must be from an airplane (and a shiny one, at that?) given the shape in the top right of the frame. Still secretly hoping this was taken from a hot air balloon, though. ;)
