When we included the "comment on this ad" feedback mechanism below the banner ad spot we figured people would use it to talk to us about what they thought of the ad, engage us in lively discussions as to whether or not this site "is really free anymore", or just generally call us sell-outs. Hey buddy, we've got server bills to pay!
To our astonishment, about half the feedback has been requests for a way to donate to Photo Friday. We're speechless.
